Hilliard and Norwich Township residents who use Local Waste Services will see their trash and recycling pickups pushed back one day next week because of Labor Day.

Local Waste Services will be closed Sept. 7 for the holiday. Every collection day from Sept. 7 through Sept. 12 shifts one day later, according to Norwich Township's website. Monday customers get picked up Tuesday, Tuesday customers on Wednesday, and so on through the week.

Residents should set bins out by 6 a.m. or the night before to make sure crews reach them.

Normal schedules resume the week of Sept. 14. The delay follows the township's standard holiday policy.
