Hilliard Bradley goalkeeper Brennan Fraley has allowed fewer goals through the first eight games of the 2026 boys soccer season than any Jaguars keeper since 2017.

The team announced the milestone on X on Sept. 12, calling it an achievement. The exact number of goals Fraley conceded was not disclosed, but the record had stood for nine seasons.

The Jaguars opened the season with a 1-1 draw against crosstown rival Hilliard Darby on Aug. 14. Bradley needed an 88th-minute Darby own goal to earn the point.

The offense found its footing the following week. Bradley led Springfield 3-0 at halftime on Aug. 22, with B. Tabung, Landyn Hosty and W. Moine each scoring before the break. Three days later, Hosty delivered a hat trick as the Jaguars beat Mifflin 3-1 on Aug. 25.

Fraley and the back line faced their toughest test on Thursday, Sept. 3. Delaware scored twice to hand Bradley a 2-1 loss.

The Jaguars responded with a dominant stretch. On Thursday, Sept. 10, Diego Rojas scored just 16 seconds into the match against Lakota. A Lakota own goal, plus finishes from Noah Richards, Angel Rodriguez and Gael on a free kick in the 58th minute, pushed the final to at least 4-1.

Bradley won again on Sept. 11, though the team did not post the final score. The account wrote only "Welcome to the Jungle" after the final whistle.

With the eight-game stretch complete, the team opened voting for its weekly Player of the Week award on Saturday, Sept. 12. Nominees are drawn from game MVPs and a coaching staff pick, with the winner announced each Sunday or Monday.

Fraley's record gives the Jaguars a new defensive benchmark. The previous mark had stood since the 2017 season.
