Hilliard Darby blanked Marysville 19-0 on Friday, Oct. 23, finishing the regular season at 6-4 and earning a home game in the OHSAA football playoffs.

The Panthers secured the No. 8 seed in Division I, Region 2 and will host No. 9 Miamisburg at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, according to the official OHSAA bracket. The winner advances to face top-seeded Toledo Whitmer on Nov. 6.

Marysville finished 3-7. The Marysville Journal-Tribune reported that Darby scored on touchdown runs of 68 and 55 yards in a game with relatively even statistics.
