Hilliard Darby scored 21 first-quarter points and rolled to a 41-7 win over Hilliard Davidson in the crosstown rivalry game Friday, Sept. 11.

The Panthers built a 7-0 lead with 10:46 left in the opening quarter, pushed it to 14-0 by the 5:08 mark and owned a 21-0 advantage before the period ended, according to in-game updates from Darby Athletics on X.

Darby added another score in the second quarter to take a 28-0 lead into halftime. Davidson did not score in the first half.

The Wildcats answered early in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 28-7 with 8:47 on the clock. Darby responded with a touchdown to make it 35-7, then added a fourth-quarter score to reach the 41-7 final confirmed in CBS News' statewide roundup.

Davidson won last year's rivalry matchup 35-14 on Sept. 12, 2025, at Davidson.

The Panthers travel to Gahanna on Friday, Sept. 18.
