Hilliard Davidson's girls volleyball program beat Upper Arlington at all three levels Tuesday, Sept. 29, picking up wins in the varsity, junior varsity and freshman matches at home.

The varsity squad's victory over the Golden Bears snapped a two-match conference losing streak for the Wildcats, who had fallen to Dublin Coffman 1-3 on Sept. 22 and to Olentangy Liberty 0-3 on Sept. 24. The win improved Davidson's Ohio Capital Conference Central Division record to 2-3 and pushed the team to 12-4 overall.

Upper Arlington's varsity dropped to 7-8 on the season with the loss, according to MaxPreps.

The JV Wildcats won 3-1, according to MaxPreps. The freshman team also won, improving its season record to 11-1. Both lower-level matches began at 5:30 p.m., with varsity following at 7 p.m.

Davidson entered the night 9-0 at home.

Coach E. Rundio's squad is ranked No. 26 in Ohio Division I and No. 167 statewide, according to MaxPreps. The Wildcats hold a 29-18 set record on the season heading into the Upper Arlington match.

Sophomore outside hitter Elle Eckert leads the team with 3.5 kills per set and 3.5 digs per set entering the match. Her 35 serving aces lead all of Ohio Division I. Senior outside hitter Avery Asp carries a .327 hitting percentage, and senior middle hitter Audrey Garland anchors the front row with 34 total blocks.

The three-level sweep came ahead of five consecutive conference matches for Davidson. The Wildcats host Olentangy Orange on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m., then travel to Hilliard Bradley on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Davidson returns home for Dublin Coffman on Oct. 8 and Olentangy Liberty on Oct. 13 before heading to Upper Arlington for a rematch on Oct. 15.
