Hilliard Bradley boys soccer player Luis Silva earned the team's Player of the Week honor after fans voted him the winner.

The Bradley Boys Soccer program announced the award on X on Aug. 31, citing Silva's performance in the Jaguars' Aug. 27 home game against Fairbanks.

The team's announcement did not include specific stats for Silva's outing, describing it as "a good performance against Fairbanks." No goals, assists or other individual numbers were released.

Fairbanks scored in the eighth minute and held on for a 1-0 non-conference win at Bradley's home field, known as The Jungle, according to MaxPreps. The Jaguars trailed 1-0 at halftime and could not find an equalizer in the second half.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Bradley. The Jaguars opened the season with a 2-1 win over crosstown rival Hilliard Darby on Aug. 14, routed Springfield 7-1 on Aug. 22 and beat Marysville 3-1 on Aug. 25. Bradley sits at 3-1 through four games.

Silva's award is decided by fan voting run through the team's X account, giving supporters a direct say in recognizing standout play each week.

Bradley returns to action Sept. 3, when the Jaguars host Delaware Hayes at 5:30 p.m.
