Landyn Hosty scored three goals Aug. 24, as Hilliard Bradley boys soccer beat Marysville 3-1 in the Jaguars' home opener at The Jungle.

The hat trick capped a second-half takeover after the teams went into the break level at 1-1. Marysville opened the scoring in the first half, but Hosty equalized in the 42nd minute to send the teams into halftime tied.

Bradley came out of the break a different squad.

Hosty put the Jaguars ahead 2-1 in the 60th minute, then completed his hat trick in the 79th minute to make it 3-1. A Marysville player received a red card at the same point in the match, punctuating a dominant Bradley finish. The team's official X account confirmed the ejection and the final score.

@bradleyhssoccer: "Hosty can't stop scoring and makes it three for the Jaguars tonight!"

The performance continues a strong early-season run for Hosty. He also found the net in Bradley's road match at Springfield on Aug. 21, scoring in the 30th minute of a game the Jaguars led 3-0 at halftime. B. Tabung opened the scoring in the 10th minute of that contest, and W. Moine added a third in the 37th.

Through two matches, Bradley's attack has been prolific. The Jaguars held at least a three-goal advantage at the half in both games, with Hosty accounting for four goals across the two contests.

The home opener also marked the first time this season that Bradley fans at The Jungle saw their starting XI take the pitch. The team posted its lineup ahead of kickoff, signaling a full-strength side for the Marysville matchup.

Bradley's next opponent and game date have not yet been posted to the team's schedule.
