Hilliard families can spend a free afternoon with hay wagon rides, a petting zoo, live music and food trucks when the city's annual Fall Festival returns Sept. 13 at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park.
The festival runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Kids will find plenty to do. SuperGames inflatables, homestead games from Bring The Farm To You, chalk art stations, face painting and balloon twisters fill the activity lineup. A pumpkin carver, cloggers and stilt walkers will roam the grounds, and families can catch a dog show and a magic show throughout the afternoon.
Live music comes from Dr. Awkward, performing on-site during the event.
Food trucks will be on hand, though the city has not yet posted the vendor lineup. Residents can check the Street Food Finder page linked from hilliardohio.gov/fallfestival as the date approaches.
Matt Rumer, a Hilliard resident, put it this way in the city's June 2026 newsletter, describing what draws his family to community events: "Whether it's the Fall Festival or the bands on Thursday nights at Celebration at the Station, we just love being part of it."
Sponsors include Amazon, Raising Cane's, Thai Orthodontics, Scioto Orthodontics, Hilliard Modern Dental, Sage Family Orthodontics, Oppidan Connect and Alchemy. Alchemy operates a wellness-focused café inside The Well, Hilliard's recreation center at 3993 Cosgray Road.
City spokesperson Emily Ewing announced the festival in an Aug. 20 press release, describing it as a free autumn celebration packed with activities and entertainment for all ages.
